Introducing a new product that will revolutionize the solar steel market . Steel has always presented challenges in environmentally harsh conditions due to its tendency to corrode, creating expensive maintenance upkeep and various deterrents to each project. Our Aluminum Magnesium Zinc Alloy Coated product (AMZA®) is a ternary alloy coated steel(Zn- 3% Mg- 2.5%Al) with high corrosion resistance developed with a revolutionary unique technology. This steel is a corrosion resistant product that is 5 to 10 times more resistant than that of a normal hot-dip galvanized steel (GI, GI(H)) with the same coating weight.
This new technology has excellent cross section corrosion resistance, normal thick plating products can be replaced with it. The same processing, assembly and painting processes can be applied to this steel as one would apply to Galvanized Steel, however due to its pristine and resistant finish, one may not need to. As time progresses, the corrosion(red rust) area tends to decrease through the formation of its distinctive oxide-based material (simonkolleite).
An I-beam, also known as W-beam or Universal Beam, is a beam with an I- or H-shaped cross-section. In the United States, the most commonly mentioned I-beam is the wide-flange (W) shape. Steel I-beams are commonly specified using the depth and weight of the beam. Structural steel members, such as I-beams or C-Channels ([-shaped cross-section), have high second moments of area, which allow them to be very stiff in respect to their cross-sectional area. WTEC offers a wide variety of I-Beams and C-Channels fabricated to exacting specifications in our steel mills conveniently located near your work site. We offer engineering, manufacturing, installation, distribution and equipment design and creation for a variety of projects. Depending on the size, type and the condition of the project, a specific I-Beam and C-Channels will be selected and installed.

A hollow structural section (HSS) is a type of metal profile with a hollow tubular cross section. Circular and square HSS have very efficient shapes for multiple-axis loading as they have uniform geometric and thus uniform strength characteristics along two or more cross-sectional axes; this makes them good choices for columns. They also have excellent resistance to torsion. HSS can also be used as beams, although wide flange or I-beam shapes are in many cases a more efficient structural shape for this application. However, the HSS has superior resistance to lateral torsional buckling.
